Action Campaign : Moms for Social Good – #ItStartsWithMoms Mother's Day Tweet Chat

Mom Bloggers for Social Good have partnered with some of the leading organizations that work with women globally on the #ItStartsWithMoms Twitter chat. The chat will be held on Friday, May 11 from 12 noon - 1:30 PM EST. 

This event will have robust discussions about mothers and motherhood. We will talk about saving families by saving mothers, innovating for moms, and mothers for social change.

Malaria is an epidemic that takes away a child's life every minute. Indeed a very scary statistic. April 25 is celebrated as World Malaria Day, at the same time it is the kick off for its the campaign #EndMalaria.

Mom Bloggers for Social Good's partner, Malaria No More has teamed up with United Nations Special Envoy for Malaria launched #EndMalaria which is an online and mobile effort to gather donations to buy bed nets that can protect a mother and child from the malaria-transmitting mosquitoes that bite at night. 

You can text to donate, donate online and buy a book that donates a net.

What is BRAC?

BRAC is a development organisation dedicated to alleviating poverty by empowering the poor to bring about change in their own lives.

We started out in Bangladesh in 1972, and over the course of our evolution, we have established ourselves as a pioneer in recognising and tackling the many different realities of poverty. 

Mom Bloggers for Social Good is happy to be partnering with BRAC with its campaign Honor Your Mother, Change a Life. This campaign aims to help poverty stricken mothers to aid them with the necessary tools in order for them to alleviate the status of their lives.

April 21 - 28 will be World Immunization Week and the official launch of our partner, Shot@Life! Next Thursday they will have a three-hour Twitter party celebrating their launch at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.

Action Campaign : Moms for Social Good – We Feedback

Many children around the world are deprived of food, much more, of the needed nutrients to support growth and development.  Often than not, we rant over things that we don't have but come to think of it, many people especially children are dying of hunger somewhere else. We are so lucky that our children are privileged to be provided for with their daily needs specifically food. World's hungry children are growing in an uncontrollable quantity that it why it is time for us to make a move. 

Our group, Mom Bloggers for Social Good has launched a new campaign, We Feedback. This campaign calls out for a $1 donation to feed children around the world under the World Food Programme. We can do something about childhood hunger, taking a little step-as little as $1 will definitely go a long way!
